Van transportation is available to Club Central from Tierra Linda School. The program offers a safe environment for youth to develop healthy positive with peers and adults. At Club Central youth learn healthy habits, receive homework assistance, participate in age appropriate activities such as sports and crafts projects, and have fun! Along with its after-school program, Club Central also offers Friday night activities, twice per month. Once school is out for the year, students here are invited to join the RAMS summer program. Carrie Partridge Site DirectorCarrie has been a child care professional for the past ten years. Carrie started at Cipriani After-School Care, Inc. as an assistant in 1999. She left to go to college and returned as a teacher in 2001. Carrie became Assistant Director of the Cipriani Site in 2002 and the site director of Club Central in 2004. Carrie has taken ECE classes at California State University, Chico and local colleges. "I enjoy working at Club Central for several reasons. The youth really respond positively to the program, which makes me feel as if I am making a real difference. I also enjoy getting to know all of the youth as well as their families. Getting to know the families helps to create a sense of "family" at Club Central and a comfortable place for the youth where they can feel safe and respected." Back to top |
